About Puffs: Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic

Puffs, the hit off-Broadway show already enjoyed by over 20,000 people, just got a little bit more off-Broadway-er. Puffs transfers to a new production at New World Stages this summer.

For seven years a certain boy wizard went to Wizard School. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs… who just happened to be there too. A play for anyone who has never been destined to save the world. “An alternative narrative for the underdog” (Wall Street Journal).

Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic is a Potter inspired comedy for anyone who has ever felt like a secondary character in someone else’s story. The play that “never goes more than a minute without a laugh” (Nerdist) gives you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three new heroes just trying to make it through magic school. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal rejects with a thing for badgers "who are so lovable and relatable, you’ll leave the theater wishing they were in the stories all along” (Hollywood Life). Their “hilariously heartfelt!” (Metro) and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be.

“Buy a ticket immediately. I can promise you won’t regret it.” (Mugglenet)

*As a special treat for parents and families, all matinee performances are appropriate for young wizards from ages 8 and up.*
